PSV had a spectacular match again a week ago. The Dutch at first led 0-1, but then allowed the opponent to score 2 goals and take the lead. And yet, in the 78th minute they were able to recoup – 2:2. Among the wards of van Nistelrooy, Sangare and Obispo scored productive blows.
In order for the “red-white army” to break into the group, a victory with any score, even the smallest one, will be enough on the upcoming Wednesday.
I want to remind you that at the previous stage of the qualification, the Eindhoven team first also painted a draw away – against Monaco (1:1). This was followed by a bright victory at home in the return confrontation – 3:2. It is possible that this will happen again now.
Glasgow Rangers
The Rangers were close to victory a week ago, but van Bronkhorst’s team lacked literally 15 minutes to keep the score 2:1. Now the Scots need to win in the return confrontation. If a draw is recorded at the end of 90 minutes, we will witness extra time. Actually, to get into the quartet of plushies, a victory with absolutely any score will suit.
I can’t ignore the fact that in the third round of qualifying, the Rangers were defeated by Union St. Gilloise with a score of 1:0.
The Scottish side have not won a Champions League away game since 2007.
Prediction and bet on the football PSV – Rangers
PSV as a favorite, if you rely on bookmaker quotes. I fully agree with this. Wards van Nstelrooy have already proved that they are capable of much at home. A striking example is the victory over the now powerful Monaco (3:2). At the same time, the Rangers performed very poorly in the last away game, in the Champions League, when they lost to the tournament’s debutant Union with a score of 1:0.
My prediction: PSV will attack even more this time than a week ago. I propose here to bet on a clear victory for the PSV.
