UEFA Champions League winner odds
On September 6, 2022, the group stage of the next, already 68th in a row, drawing of the main club tournament in Europe starts. 32 strongest teams of the continent will compete for the trophy of the competition, which have earned the right to play at such a high level: someone showed himself great in the national championship, and someone else went through a multi-level qualification.
Real Madrid will defend the title in the 2022/23 season, having beaten Liverpool 1-0 in the final a year earlier. Will Madrid be able to cope with this task? Will Man City and PSG stand a chance of success? Will Barcelona and Bayern return to their former level? Or will one of the outsiders intervene in the fight for the trophy?

Champions League format for the 2022/23 season
More recently, European football was on the verge of great changes, as the top clubs of the continent decided to organize a Super League, which would have an incredible status and outrageous funding, but nothing came of this idea, so we continue to consider the Champions League the main club tournament of the continent. As in the previous year, the away goal rule will not function in the 2022/23 season, but we are gradually starting to get used to this nuance of the rules.
The rest of the Champions League format has not undergone major changes. As before, 32 of the strongest teams in Europe will fight for the main trophy of the tournament: some of them qualified for the group stage with the help of national tournaments, and the rest through the qualifying sieve. All participants in the competition are divided into eight quartets, within which they will have to play two matches in the “each against each” format: one on their own field, the other on someone else’s. After six rounds, the final standings are formed: the top two lines advance to the playoffs of the Champions League, the third place goes to the Europa League, and the worst team of each group finishes their performance in European competition.
It is important to note that at the end of 2022, Qatar will host the World Cup, so already in mid-November, all European football will go on a long pause to prepare for the main international tournament of the four-year period. Of course, all this leaves its mark on the Champions League calendar, the group stage of which starts unusually early, and you will have to play as intensely as possible. The main dates for the 2022/23 season can be found below:

Champions League favorites for 2022/23
According to analysts, the main contender to win the Champions League season 2022/23 is Manchester City, whose chances are estimated at 3.75. It’s hard to disagree with the opinion of the bookmakers, since Jose Guardiola has been approaching the title for several years, but every time he lacked something. In the off-season, Manchester City have strengthened all the problematic positions, so now they are definitely ready to take a decisive step towards the long-awaited success. The only time in its history that Manchester City took the main club trophy of the continent back in 1970, and now they have every opportunity to win the tournament again.
